As a Workday Financials Consultant you’ll be a lead consultant in implementing and configuring Workday solutions for our global customer base and an expert in your chosen Workday specialist capability or capabilities.

As an expert in a team of consultants, you will manage relationships with our customers, shape and deliver solutions aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You’ll provide excellent consulting and guidance to customers, truly understanding their business.

You’ll be an expert in your capability, using your technical and professional expertise to mentor and guide your team members, providing thought leadership and innovation, building and improving specialist knowledge in your capability or capabilities at Kainos and in the broader Workday community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration of Workday solutions.
• Manage customer relationships and deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Provide consulting and guidance to customers, understanding their business.
• Mentor and guide team members in your specialty.
• Build thought leadership and innovation in the Workday community.

What We Are Looking For

• Fluent in German.
• Deep understanding of Workday products, either Financials/Payroll or your specialist capability (Product Lead ideal).
• Excellent customer focus, able to assess needs, build relationships and manage expectations, and intervene effectively to resolve escalations.
• Excellent consulting skills, including leading large‑scale workshops, liaising confidently with senior executives.
• Commercial understanding of utilisation within a services organisation and the importance of targets.

Nice to have

• Professional qualifications where applicable.
• Experience developing and delivering distinguishing products or services at Kainos.
• Ability to identify talent for rapid development within the capability.
• Experience managing, mentoring and developing teams.
