Job summary

Square One Resources is seeking a Workday Finance Reporting Consultant for a London-based role with hybrid working. You will deliver hands-on Workday reporting design, develop complex calculated fields, and collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep Workday reporting expertise, knowledge of security and data structures, plus experience in documenting standards and coaching users.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Workday business objects, data structures and reporting relationships.
• Good understanding of Workday reporting security, including domains, role-based access and reporting restrictions.
• Confident communicating with Finance stakeholders and explaining technical reporting concepts clearly.
• Experience creating reporting documentation, standards and repeatable processes.
• Ability to provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to business users.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex reporting problems, identifying issues relating to data, security, business objects or report performance.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated calculated fields to support financial reporting, KPIs and management information.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and turn them into practical Workday solutions.
• Review and improve existing reports, identifying opportunities to enhance usability, accuracy and performance.
• Establish consistent approaches to report design, documentation, naming, ownership and ongoing maintenance.
• Support the testing, validation and release of new reporting solutions.
