Job summary

Network Rail's Southern Region in London is seeking a structured Work Plan Co-ordinator to optimise annual and quarterly plans, coordinating labour, access, plant and materials to support the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and project activities within the Delivery Unit.

This full-time role at London Bridge offers a salary of £35,582 per annum plus Location Allowance, and requires you to work closely with operational teams to align plans with priorities, monitor performance, manage

Work Plan Co-ordinator

Location: London Bridge
Salary: £35,582 per annum (dependent on experience) plus Location Allowance

About the role

We are looking for an organised and analytical Work Plan Co-ordinator to optimise and coordinate annual and quarterly work plans that support the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance and project activities within the Delivery Unit.

Working closely with operational teams and stakeholders, you will ensure resources, access requirements and work plans are effectively coordinated to maximise productivity and support successful delivery across the route.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with planning and resource coordination experience who enjoys problem solving, analysing performance data and working collaboratively across multiple teams.

What you’ll need........
  • Experience of work planning, resource coordination and optimisation.
  • Knowledge of access and possession planning processes and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Even better if you have
  • Knowledge of maintenance delivery processes and techniques.
  • Experience working within a railway, infrastructure or operational environment
  • Understanding of track inspection, maintenance, renewal, and asset condition assessment techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards, procedures, and instructions.
  • Awareness of cost and waste control techniques.
  • Ability to promote and embed safe working behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to coach, influence, and develop others.
  • Hold or be working towards NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive as required.
