Job summary

FindTutors is seeking a motivated Japanese Tutor to join our growing platform in the United Kingdom. This flexible, online/offline role allows you to work from home or in person, teaching students of all ages to improve Japanese language skills across speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Japanese Tutor to join our growing team. This is a flexible opportunity to work online from home or in person, helping students of all ages improve their Japanese language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and conversation.

As a Japanese Tutor, you will deliver personalised 1-to-1 or small group lessons adapted to each student’s level (beginner, intermediate, advanced). You will support learners in building confidence, improving fluency, and achieving their academic, professional, or personal goals such as exams (JLPT), travel, relocation, or general communication.

You will also help students develop pronunciation, kana and kanji understanding, conversational Japanese, and structured learning strategies tailored to their needs and learning style.

Requirements

• Strong command of Japanese (native or C1/C2 level)
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods
• Passion for languages, teaching, and student development
