ROLE DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a motivated and proactive Work Experience Coordinator to join our Careers and Work Experience team. In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in supporting learners to gain meaningful, high‑quality work experience placements that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to thrive in the world of work.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and deliver a robust work experience programme aligned with learner aspirations and curriculum needs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers across a wide range of industries.
  • Support students in developing work‑readiness skills through engaging workshops and 1:1 support.
  • Ensure all placements meet health and safety and safeguarding standards.
  • Collaborate with curriculum staff to enhance learner progress and ensure employer engagement is embedded throughout the academic journey.
  • Promote success stories and positive employer interactions via marketing channels.
What We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who is highly organised, personable, and passionate about learner development. You will bring:

  • Essential: 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths), NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and experience working with young people in a support capacity.
  • Desirable: A qualification in teaching, mentoring or advice & guidance (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience building strong relationships with external partners, particularly employers.
  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport is beneficial.
