Job description

Venables Oak is one of Shropshire’s leading timber merchants and bespoke joinery manufacturers. We are currently seeking an experienced Wood Machinist to join our skilled and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating a range of woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, four-sided planers, and bandsaws.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out routine machine maintenance and ensuring the workshop remains clean and well organised.
• Working independently and as part of a busy, collaborative team
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Transport: Own transport essential due to rural location
