Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management Ltd is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Bartender at Wotton House to join our Bar team and deliver memorable guest experiences. You’ll mix cocktails, recommend wines, and welcome guests, helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes events and everyday service special.

Qualifications

• Hospitality passion and guest service excellence
• Friendly approachable personality with confidence engaging guests
• Interest in wines, spirits and cocktails
• Strong communication skills and team-focused attitude
• Ability to stay calm and organised during busy services
• Good attention to detail and pride in high standards
• Willingness to learn new skills and expand drink knowledge
• Reliable and flexible with shifts including evenings/weekends/bank holidays
• Experience in a hotel, cocktail bar or busy hospitality setting is a bonus
• Previous bar/hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly smile and create a relaxed atmosphere
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, spirits, beer and soft drinks
• Share drink knowledge and recommend perfect tipple
• Deliver attentive, personalised service during quiet and busy periods
• Keep the bar clean, stocked and visually appealing
• Assist with stock replenishment, deliveries and waste minimisation
• Process orders and payments accurately using till systems
• Work with the wider Food & Beverage team for a seamless guest experience
• Follow licensing, responsible service, health & safety standards
• Involve yourself in weddings, events and celebrations and help create memorable moments
• Support colleagues and get involved when busy
