Overview

A wonderful opportunity has arisen to join a warm and welcoming family in a quaint Cotswolds village near Shipston-on-Stour. The family are seeking a nanny who can work confidently and collaboratively with the mother while also being happy to take sole charge when required. While the eldest son is at school, the nanny will focus on the family’s two‑year‑old daughter, supporting her through an age‑appropriate routine that includes play dates, walks, local outings, classes and creative activities at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the children’s bedrooms, bathroom, playroom, laundry and belongings.
• Support the two‑year‑old daughter’s daily routine, allowing her to develop independent skills.
• Encourage the five‑year‑old boy’s interests in football, music, horse‑riding, cycling and village exploration.
• Encourage the younger sister’s hobbies of puzzles, trampoline play, hide and seek, small‑world play and arts and crafts.
• Assist with cooking and be comfortable in a country setting.
• Communicate effectively with the mother and coordinate schedules.
• Offer babysitting by prior arrangement when required.
• Utilise the family’s Soho Farmhouse membership to organise enjoyable family outings during school holidays.
• Maintain a cooperative working style with the mother.

Requirements

• Experience as a nanny in a similar role.
• Own car and ability to drive.
• Availability 8 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, with flexible start times and occasional later finishes.
• Pay: £33,280 gross per annum.
• Readily able to start as soon as possible.

Professional Certifications & References

• Up‑to‑date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the updated service.
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
• Minimum two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer and both immediately contactable.
