Job summary

Fashion & Retail Personnel Ltd. is seeking a senior womenswear tailoring designer in London to translate trends into commercially viable products. The role is hands-on, shaping the product area while mentoring a junior designer and sharing technical tailoring knowledge.

You will work closely with fabrics, construction, and garment development teams, maintaining a contemporary and commercial soft tailoring handwriting. A budget for travel to factories and inspiration trips is available.

This is an opportunity for a womenswear soft senior tailoring designer with a distinctive handwriting to embark on a key role for this leading business.

Day to day you will demonstrate how to translate fashion trends into commercially relevant product and really help shape the area whilst being hands-on; manage and mentor a junior designer; and share your technical understanding of tailoring and strong knowledge of fabrics, construction and garment development.
