Job summary

Fashion Personnel in London is seeking an experienced Womenswear Garment Technologist to join on a temporary basis. You will work with Design, Buying, Production and Quality teams to ensure garments fit, meet quality standards and are production-ready on time.

The role requires independent working, strong technical knowledge, and immediate availability. The position offers a rolling contract (initially one month), three days a week (Wed–Fri) with weekly PAYE pay, and hybrid working in Central

Qualifications

• Experience as a Womenswear Garment Technologist.
• Experience with knitwear, jersey, woven garments, outerwear and tailoring.
• Good knowledge of garment fit, construction and grading.
• Confident communicating with factories and suppliers.
• Well organised with good attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Attend garment fittings and check the fit of samples.
• Measure garments and provide comments on any changes needed.
• Update garment specifications and measurement charts.
• Communicate with overseas factories and suppliers about garment issues.
• Check fabric and garment testing results.
• Keep track of deadlines and production schedules.
• Help resolve garment quality and construction issues.
• Work closely with Design, Buying, Production and Quality teams.
