Job description
Overview

Newport Pagnell Medical Centre are looking for a specialist physiotherapist to join our small highly trained team on a part-time basis for 15 hours per week. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be involved in an established and innovative community service based in primary care. This is a specialist nurse led service for adult male and female patients with lower urinary tract symptoms, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Referrals to the service are received directly by GPs or other health care professionals in Milton Keynes. The position works within a multidisciplinary team consisting of an advanced urology nurse practitioner. The post will involve direct patient care, specialist assessment and conservative management as outlined by NICE guidelines using evidence-based client-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. The post holder will also play an active role in service review and audit, applying relevant findings to service development and planning.
