Job description

As a WMS Support Analyst, you'll be the technical backbone of our Distribution Centre operations, ensuring seamless performance across integrated systems including WMS, WCS, MFC, PLC, SAP, and simulation platforms. You'll maintain system integrity, support operational and IT teams, and drive continuous improvement through data insights, testing, and secure data exchange.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure optimal performance of WMS and WCS with minimal downtime through proactive system decisions.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external system providers to meet Teva UK's operational needs.
  • Deliver timely, clear, and effective support for WMS/WCS-related issues.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and training materials for WMS/WCS systems.
  • Lead testing and validation of new WMS/WCS software releases using WCS simulation software (Schaefer).
  • Create and test all system test scripts using ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
  • Manage secure file transfers to external stakeholders via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
  • Support SQL report generation and maintenance for WMS.
  • Reconcile stock across systems, including suspense accounts and WMS-WCS alignment.
  • Analyse and optimize productivity across all warehouse zones.
  • Manage ABC product classifications and stock relocation within ASRS and HBS zones.
  • Generate operational reports and KPIs to support performance tracking.
  • Uphold FEFO rules and elevate system/hardware failures per protocol.
  • Collaborate on strategic projects and support broader distribution centre operations.
Qualifications

Higher education (e.g., degree or NVQ) preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience
  • Strong background in quality systems documentation and support.
  • Experience with SQL, I Reports, WMS/WCS, ALM, SFTP, and systems integration.
  • Inventory control and reconciliation in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with GDP-compliant environments.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
