Trant Engineering Ltd is seeking a Wireperson for our workshop near Totton, Southampton. You will assemble and wire control panels, MCCs and automation systems to wiring diagrams, ensuring quality, safety and compliance before testing.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, ability to read schematics and BOMs, and experience wiring panels. This is a permanent, full-time position in a busy engineering workshop with development opportunities.

Trant Te-Tech design, custom build and install a wide range of high quality control panels, motor control centres (MCC’s) and automation systems, offering conventional, intelligent and withdrawable systems with outstanding reliability and functionality.
We are currently looking for a proven Wireperson to join our workshop based near Totton, Southampton.
The Wireperson is responsible for the accurate assembly and wiring of control panels, MCCs, and automation systems in accordance with electrical drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. The role plays a key part in ensuring assemblies meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements prior to inspection and testing.
