Job summary

As a Window Cleaning Operative, you will work nights and weekends, perform tasks safely, use equipment properly and report faults to your supervisor. A full UK driving license and right to work in the UK are required, and you will join a team that values

Qualifications

• Must have right to work in the UK.
• Must hold a full UK Driving License.
• Experience in window cleaning; working at heights is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled works in a timely, safe manner.
• Check equipment and ensure it is in safe working order and serviced.
• Report faults to supervisor/management promptly.
• Comply with health & safety policies, hygiene, fire and COSHH regulations.
• Identify and report health and safety hazards following guidelines.
• Report customer feedback and incidents to Line Manager/supervisor.

About The Role

Specialist Window Cleaning (SWC), part of the OCS Group, are currently recruiting for a Window Cleaning Operative to join our passionate and driven team.

Key responsibilities

• To carry out works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manor.


• Be aware of the condition of the equipment to ensure that all equipment is in safe working order, checked regularly and serviced.


• Report any faults to supervisor/ management.


• Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.


• Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards e.g., blocked/locked fire doors.


• Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if possible. Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/ supervisor.

You will meet the following criteria

• Must have right to work in the UK.


• You must hold a full UK Driving License.


• You will have experience in window cleaning and ideally in working at heights and high buildings


• You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.


• A professional attitude.
