PDA Search & Selection is recruiting a mobile Window Cleaner/High Level Cleaning Technician based in Lincoln. The role involves exterior window cleaning at circa 30 sites, with occasional weekend work to meet business needs.

You will operate a company van and fuel card, starting early and working across various locations. Candidates should have multi-site window cleaning experience, IPAF 3a/3b, a full UK driving licence, and be IT literate with flexibility for varied hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Multi-site window cleaning experience is required.
• IPAF 3a/3b certification is essential; 2a is beneficial.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Flexible to work early starts and varying hours.
• IT literate and able to use basic tools/equipment.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows to a high standard across multiple retail sites.
• Carry out jet/pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and occasional roof/pavement cleans.
• Manage tasks within agreed geographic region and timescales.
• Respond to Planned Cleaning Tasks (PCT) to client specifications.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are available and serviced.
• Attend training courses as required.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies at all times.

Position: Window Cleaner/ High Level Cleaning Technician

Salary: £32,250

Included: Company Van & Fuel Card

Location: Lincoln

Hours: 40 hours per week | Early morning starts may be required

Shifts: Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend work may be required depending on business needs)

Our client, a national leader in soft facilities management services, are looking to recruit a mobile window cleaning technician to be responsible for cleaning operations of circa 30 sites.

Job Purpose:

To carry out exterior window cleaning works at retail stores to a pre-determined standards and specification in an efficient, professional and cost-effective manner whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy. This role will involve working at heights and cleaning hard to reach areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• To clean windows to a high standard with a commercial environment.
• To partake in jet/ pressure washing, gutter cleaning, occasional roof/ pavement cleans, graffiti removal & signage cleans, keeping all outdoor areas of the retail sites clean.
• Periodically clean sites within a pre specified geographical region
• Responding promptly and positively to complete Planned Cleaning Tasks (PCT) to the clients and employers specification.
• To complete ALL PCT within the agreed time frames and as specification by site.
• Ensuring all tools and equipment necessary to complete PCT are always available and serviceable.
• Attending training courses as and when necessary.
• Always Complying with the company Health and Safety Policy.

Candidate's background & experience:

• Multi-site window cleaning experience
• IPAF 3a/3b, with IPAF 2a would be beneficial but not essential
• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience within supermarket retail would be desirable
• High degree of flexibility in working hours including early starts, etc.
• Nature of the role may require the jobholder to work outside normal working and agreed contract hours.
• Smart and tidy appearance
• The individual must be IT literate

Candidates need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and for a demanding client.

Candidates must have a full and valid driving licence and be prepared to travel daily.
