Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Painter to support Vestas turbine installation projects in Scotland. The role involves painting, coating, surface preparation, and finishing on wind turbine components, with duties spanning cleaning, masking, and quality control.

You will work within an international team and require strong safety discipline. Experience with Vestas projects and full GWO training with a valid GWO Medical is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Painter or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting, coating, surface preparation, and finishing on turbine components.
• Prepare surfaces via cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking.
• Apply coatings, paints, primers, finishing products per specs.
• Carry out touch-ups and repairs.
• Inspect surfaces for quality and finish.
• Follow procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Safely use painting equipment and tools.
• Support handling and preparation during installation.
• Work at height in nacelles, hubs, towers.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment.
• Complete quality documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Technicians.
