Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Control Engineer to manage systems for the East Anglia 3 Wind Farm. You'll monitor operations, handle alarms, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates should have experience in HV systems, knowledge of SCADA, and hold necessary authorizations. Opportunities for full-time and contracting positions are available with a start date from April to June 2025.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previously held SAP authorisation under high voltage electrical safety rules at 400kV (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess proper operation of the wind farm power controller and report detected malfunctions.
• Prepare switching programs for the first energisation of different assets in the Project.

Skills

Ability to use and understand SCADA systems

Ability to interpret data and produce reports

Communication & liaison with 3rd parties

Education

NEBOSH/IOSH Managing Safely or CITB SMSTS or equivalent
