Wholesale Manager Job Description
Term: Permanant contract, Open to part-time or full-time candidates
Location: Hybrid working, 3 days in West London office
Key Accountabilities
The role’s duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
- Direct responsibility for wholesale business in all product categories for a worldwide territory.
- Management of wholesale accounts (order admin, client contact, terms, performance) keeping excellent records and developing a strong rapport with clients
- Sales forecasting at client and product levels
- Creating and ensuring the adherence of the dept’s yearly critical path
- Ongoing analysis of Wholesale account business and product performance, submitting seasonal reports to Directors
- Overseeing and proactively engaging in prospecting new business opportunities
- Assisting with creating relevant materials and holding in-store staff product knowledge trainings at key accounts as well as distributing digital versions to overseas accounts
- Provide decisions on client priorities of distribution of goods as needed, and monitoring timely deliveries to clients
- Management of Off-Price Sales Distribution through approved channels
- Provide input on product range & pricing as needed for future merchandising plans
- Liaise with Finance on client account status on a regular basis and assist as needed
- Organisation of sales campaign markets and ongoing third party relationships
- Responsible for developing and adhering to Wholesale Targets and Dept Budgets, leading to sales growth each financial year
- Establishing and executing wholesale strategy by region with Directors
- Preparing for and participating in team and client meetings
- Awareness of and adherence to company’s financial targets
- Promoting the company’s mission and strategy
Candidates must be / have:
- High level of relevant Wholesale account management experience in fashion (minimum of 3 years). Previous key account management is important.
- Excellent communicator both written and verbally – high level of experience working with customers
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent problem solver and confidence in negotiating
- Punctuality and professionalism
- Highly computer literate, at ease with spreadsheets in particular (Google Applications and/or Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to travel internationally for sales market
- Ability to put together visual reports to highlight performance is a plus
- Familiarity with Zedonk software is a plus
