Zusammenfassung

TalentHawk Limited is seeking an Analyst to help shape how Great Britain’s future energy system is modelled, forecast and planned. You’ll develop regional whole-energy supply and demand pathways, spanning electricity, hydrogen, heat, transport and industry, collaborating with energy specialists to refine forecasting approaches and scenarios.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, experience in energy forecasting, and proficiency with Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, and Excel/VBA.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in energy forecasting, supply/demand analysis, energy-system modelling or quantitative energy analysis.
• Experience with Python, SQL, R, MATLAB, Excel/VBA or similar analytical tools.
• Backgrounds covering electricity or gas demand, network/distribution planning, whole-energy systems, heat, transport, hydrogen, biomethane, industry, consumer demand or energy scenarios.
• STEM/Statistics/Economics/Data Science background is preferred; relevant industry experience considered.

• Develop forecasting models and analytical approaches for regional whole-energy supply and demand pathways.
• Work with complex energy and distribution-level datasets.
• Support whole-system and scenario modelling.
• Research emerging energy trends, technologies and modelling techniques.
• Translate analysis into clear insights for decision-makers.
• Collaborate with internal modelling teams, networks and industry stakeholders.
• Contribute to development of new methodologies and analytical processes.
