Job summary

Quest Employment is seeking Van Drivers in Banbury to join a busy delivery operation on a temporary, ongoing basis. You will deliver white goods to customers’ homes and assist with appliance installation, using a tail lift after training.

The role is physically demanding with early starts and long days. Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, minimum 2 years’ UK driving experience, and be aged 25+ for insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
• Minimum 2 years’ UK driving experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Maximum 5 points on your licence.
• Current DVLA Licence Check Summary or valid check code.
• 5-year declaration of accidents and insurance claims.
• Copy of driving licence – front and back.
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable and comfortable working long days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver white goods to customers across planned routes.
• Safely load and unload appliances from a 3.5T van.
• Assist with the installation of white goods.
• Use a tail lift safely following training.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork and follow company procedures.
• Carry out manual handling of heavy appliances.
