Job summary

Driver Hire Borders in Jedburgh is seeking a Warehouse Bottling Operative to handle warehousing, spirit handling, vatting and production support within a whisky production facility. You will be responsible for receiving materials, transferring spirit, maintaining records and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Role covers a 40 hour week, with 7am–7pm shifts Monday to Friday. UK transport needed due to remote site location. Experience in spirits and ERP systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/production environment.
• Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Experience completing production or warehouse documentation.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Experience with spirit handling or vatting activities is a plus.
• Forklift licence is required.
• Knowledge of excise warehouse operations.
• Experience using ERP/warehouse systems (e.g. SAP/Oracle/Business Central).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record deliveries of materials and consumables.
• Move and store goods using forklift and other equipment.
• Prepare vats, transfer spirit and follow approved recipes and procedures.
• Maintain production records and monitor yields and samples for QC.
• Assist bottling, packaging and warehouse activities during peak periods.
• Follow SOPs, COSHH assessments and site risk procedures.
• Support audits, improvements and maintenance tasks.
