Job summary

Saputo Dairy UK is seeking a Whey Process Operator to join our production team. You will use computer systems to control process parameters, run routine checks, record data, and perform manual tasks such as pipe changes and cleaning in a fast-paced dairy environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with gauges, valves and meter readers, strong teamwork, and a commitment to GMP and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating process plants with GMP/health & safety.
• Ability to learn technical processes and operate complex equipment.

The Whey Process Operator (WPO) position is a key role for ensuring the high-quality of product being processed, utilising computers to control the parameters of machinery are set, running on-going checks for key metrics, recording data on systems, along with manual responsibilities such as pipe changes, some manual carrying, and cleaning.

This is a position well suited to someone with experience utilising computer multiple systems, with hands-on experience with a range of gauges, valves, meter readers, etc.

Shift pattern: 3-on/3-off, days & nights, 7-7

• Operating a process plant component to the required quality and process standards.

YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…

• Experienced working with computer systems in a role.
• Able to demonstrate an understanding and hands-on experience working woth gauges, pressure valves, meter readers, etc.
• Someone that has strong teamworking skills.
• Able to demonstrate the ability to learn the technical aspects of processes.
• Able to show an understanding and willingness to comply with all food standards (GMP, health & safety etc.) consistent with working in a world class food manufacturing environment.
