Job summary

LKQ SYNETIQ is seeking a Wheels & Tyres Operative at its Doncaster head office. The role involves supplying, fitting and removing tyres, repairing tyres and tubes, balancing wheels and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

You will handle stock tasks, liaise with customers and assist with depot processes. Experience in a similar environment, knowledge of health and safety, and ability to work in a busy team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a similar environment.
• Wheel balancing, reseals, tyre and tube repairs, fitting valves and determining tyre condition.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fit and remove new and used tyres, repair tyres and tubes, fit valves and balance wheels.
• Load and unload tyres and wheels and transport within the depot.
• Process tyres for stock/scrap and manage rims.
• Balance wheels and ensure correct jacking points are used.
• Communicate with customers and check price/availability.
