A healthcare service provider is seeking a Team Lead in Wigan to oversee small, busy services. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, wheelchair provision, and a strong understanding of medical conditions. Responsibilities include workload organization, effective communication with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role requires a BSc or Diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The company offers clinical supervision and a supportive work environment.
These are small but busy services with a small, friendly team comprising of one B7 Occupational Therapist, one B7 Physiotherapist, a one B6 Physiotherapist, a Rehabilitations Engineer plus three Administrators. We are looking for a Team Lead to complete the team. The three services run from 2 locations and are based in modern, comfortable NHS buildings, with excellent clinic facilities and close to other NHS teams. The Team Lead will be supported by our Regional Therapist, and will form part of our national Clinical Lead Group, who have a weekly meeting for information sharing and peer support.
