Job summary

Niftylift Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced wet paint sprayer to join our manufacturing team. You will work with 2K paints and primer, delivering quality finishes.

This permanent role offers a starting salary between £34,533 and £37,448, plus a 15% shift allowance, overtime at enhanced rates, and monthly bonuses. Hours are 37.5 per week on rotating shifts with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in wet spray painting, ideally in manufacturing or automotive paint environments.
• Knowledge of paint shop health and safety practices.
• Experience using and maintaining air-fed respiratory equipment.
• Exposure to powder coating processes is desirable.
• Experience working in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out wet painting (primer and gloss) using airless, air-assisted and HVLP systems.
• Work with 2K paint products.
• Maintain paint shop health and safety, including safe handling of isocyanates and flammable substances.
• Demonstrate flexibility to develop skills across wet paint and powder coating processes.
• Operate within a lean manufacturing/continuous improvement environment.
• Collaborate to meet customer requirements for quality, delivery, cost and innovation.
