Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to support learners across Caerphilly's schools. Working on a full-time schedule from 8:30 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., you will help pupils across KS3 and assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom management, and assessments. The role requires fluent Welsh, at least 3 months of experience with children or young people, excellent communication, and willingness to travel between multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh (spoken and written).
• 3 months experience working with children or young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, proactivity, and willingness to travel across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across KS3.
• Provide support for pupils, including those with ALN.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil assessments.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and the wider school community.
