Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a Relief Breakfast Club Supervisor for Cwmfelin Primary School to oversee pupils in the breakfast club until the start of the school day.

You will support the catering team to run a safe, efficient service and ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety and Hygiene legislation.

A key requirement is the ability to greet customers through Welsh, and all staff must meet safeguarding standards, including an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Supervise pupils attending the breakfast club until the school day begins.
• Support the catering team with a safe, efficient and effective service.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, and Food Safety and Hygiene legislation.
• Welsh language ability is a requirement for this post.
• All council employees must protect children, young people or adults at risk.
