Job description

We’re seeking extra special Care Workers to support people to live well at home!

We are thrilled to be recognised as winners at among others the 2024 National Care Awards, as the Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year, and the 2025 Home Care Awards. All made possible by our wonderful support worker teams, which we would love for you to join!

Requirements
  • We welcome people with no previous care experience; FULL training will be provided. You should have compassion, respect and a desire to support people in your community.
  • Car & valid driving licence
  • Right To Work: You must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Location: We recruit colleagues local to our teams, to support their local communities, so we can’t accommodate relocation. Please ensure that you live within approximately 5–10 miles of our Kidlington team.
  • Shift Times: 5 hour blocks (mornings shifts from 7am–12pm and 8am–1pm, and evening shifts from 3pm–8pm and 4pm–9pm). You must be available to work on alternate weekends, as well as weekdays. This helps you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Part Time and Flexi roles available
  • Real Living Wage employer: we pay for full shifts (not just contact time) – £14.21 p/hr for time spent supporting people and £12.21 p/hr for the rest of your time (between visits, travelling, training and connecting with your team)
What makes BelleVie Care different?

Yes, we provide the usual help around the home, personal care, companionship, transport, and more. But that’s where the similarities with other providers end.

  • Pay for all your hours – That includes travel, training, and team meetings, not just time spent in someone’s home.
  • No experience necessary – Whether you're brand new to care or have years behind you, we provide full, supportive training. We hire people based on values, personality and attitude rather than experience.
  • Self-managed teams – Our close-knit self-managed teams make their own decisions about the people they support, with full peer backing.
  • Qualifications support – Want to earn qualifications like an NVQ? We’ll help you get there and support other ways to build your skills too.
  • Joining a community of change – We are committed to change. Our vision is a society which values fulfilling careers in care, so that every member of the care ecosystem is supported through meaningful, reciprocal relationships.
What We Offer
  • Real Living Wage employer: we pay for full shifts (not just contact time) – £14.21 p/hr for time spent supporting people and £12.21 p/hr for the rest of your time (between visits, travelling, training, and connecting with your team)
  • 45p per mile mileage
  • Weekly Paid Team Meeting and buddy time
  • Part Time or flexi (zero hours) roles available
  • 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays (for Full Time workers, pro-rata for Part Time) plus your Birthday off work
  • A supportive environment, working in a team with a variety of skills and experience who will enable you to be the best you can
  • Wellness Activities and Support
  • Referral scheme
  • Funded Blue Light Card & NACAS membership
  • Support to train towards your NVQ if you want to grow your skill sets in care
