Job summary

A leading training organization in South Yorkshire is seeking a Health and Wellbeing Tutor to support adults facing barriers to employment. The role focuses on improving wellbeing, confidence, and personal development. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging sessions, supporting learners in achieving their goals, and maintaining accurate progress records. Candidates must have a Level 3 teaching qualification and experience working with vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with adults who are unemployed or experiencing barriers to work.
  • Experience supporting individuals with wellbeing needs like mental health.
  • Experience delivering group sessions or workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions focused on improving learners’ wellbeing.
  • Support learners in setting realistic personal and professional goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and outcomes.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and engage learners with varying needs
Confident in facilitating group discussions and interactive activities
Good planning and organisational skills
IT literate, including MS Office and digital learning tools
Ability to produce learner-facing materials and resources
Coaching or mentoring skills

Education

Minimum Level 3 teaching learning and assessment qualification
Level 3 qualification in a related field
Level 3 CAVA
GCSE in English Language and Maths
