Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience of supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adapting strategies.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of students, prioritising care experienced young people.
  • Deliver 1-to-1 coaching and group sessions.
  • Champion students' voices and advocate for equitable access.
  • Coordinate Personal Education Plan meetings and liaise with agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor attendance.
  • Promote participation in enrichment activities.
  • Build strong relationships with carers and social workers.
  • Assist with bursary applications and ensure compliance.

Skills

Experience of working with young adults (16+)
Understanding of problems faced by young adults
Experience of dealing with external agencies
Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
Ability to engage with disengaged individuals
