A community health service in Troy Town seeks a Wellbeing & Therapy Healthcare Assistant to support the planning and delivery of holistic care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure patients' wellbeing at the Wellbeing & Therapy Centre. Ideal candidates should have NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in holistic care, interpersonal skills, and an ability to support patients with advanced illnesses. The role emphasizes compassionate care and collaboration within a supportive environment.
The Wellbeing & Therapy healthcare assistant will work within the new Wellbeing & Therapy Centre; supporting the planning and delivery of a full timetable of holistic, therapeutic and educational groups. The post holder will support the Wellbeing & Therapy Practitioner in delivering holistic palliative wellbeing and therapy. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, the ability to use own initiative and a passion to deliver good care. To assist the Wellbeing & Therapies Practitioner in delivering holistic palliative wellbeing and therapy to patients in the Wellbeing & Therapy Hub. To provide appropriate support to patients and their carers. The post-holder will work with the Wellbeing Team, including the Wellbeing & Therapies Practitioner and volunteers. They will perform all duties as identified, supervised by the Therapy Team Lead. The post-holder will attend to patient's holistic needs as required and will support the delivery of the Wellbeing & Therapies program, ensuring that patient's care and comfort are maintained whilst present in the hub.
