This role is for someone who has a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. As the Wellbeing & Diversity Officer, you'll be a key part of an organisation that aims to embed inclusive practices and promote a supportive environment for all staff and service users. You'll work alongside the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing lead and the Head of Culture and People Strategy, while also having the autonomy to manage your own workload. This position involves planning, implementing, and coordinating projects to improve the health and wellbeing of colleagues, and developing in‑house training sessions and workshops. The role also requires you to act as a first line point of contact for EDI and wellbeing matters, using your strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of people.

The Wellbeing and Diversity Officer will be a role model in the organisation living our values for collaboration, innovation, inclusive, excellence and compassion. A key part of your role will be to promote learning and development opportunities related to EDI and wellbeing. You'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the health and wellbeing and EDI, which includes project managing and coordinating key EDI and health and wellbeing events and initiatives. You will work with internal teams and external partners to ensure a joined‑up approach to all staff networks. The post holder will have a keen interest in collecting and analysing data and information that can be used to assess performance and progress against EDI and Wellbeing objectives.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales. We work in partnership with NHS Wales colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide national digital and data services which support the delivery of health and social care in Wales. Modern health and care services depend on good digital tools, data and information. DHCW runs or works with more than 100 services and delivers major national digital transformation programmes to support this. In addition, DHCW provides expert advice in relation to cyber security and information governance. We give frontline staff the digital tools which help them provide safer and more efficient care. We are also giving patients and the public digital tools to better manage their own health and wellbeing, empowering people to live healthier lives. We put people at the heart of what we do, working to the highest standards to deliver quality and make digital a force for good in health and care.
