Responsibilities

The role supports the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a wide range of activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social well‑being.

  • Maintain a safe living and working environment and contribute to a professional image of the home.
  • Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator, Home Manager and care staff.
  • Assist with ordering and preparing supplies required for activities.
  • Establish links with local community groups (schools, spiritual groups, museums, libraries) to encourage access and promote inter‑generational interaction.
About You
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of how social interaction supports overall well‑being.
  • Positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to delivering stimulating, quality activities.
  • Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting.
Qualifications

  • Banking of a DBS Disclosure check – the cost is covered by the organisation.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
