Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant for Purley Gardens Care Home in Purley, Surrey. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator to run a wide range of activities that engage residents physically, cognitively and socially.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, good communication, and building links with the local community. Previous experience with older people in dementia care is preferred.

• Maintain a safe living and working environment and support the home’s professional image.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator and care staff.
• Help with ordering and preparing supplies for activities and build links with the local community.
