Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Weld Supervisor for a major industrial site in Middlesbrough. This role entails supervising welding and plating works, ensuring health and safety standards, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate must have a CSCS / CCNSG card and CSWIP 3.2 certification, with SMSTS preferred. This is an immediate start position lasting 8-10 weeks with competitive pay rates and allowances.

Qualifications

• CSCS / CCNSG card is essential.
• CSWIP 3.2 certification required.
• SMSTS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain welding stores and equipment.
• Supervise welding and plating works.
• Ensure operatives sign in and out accurately.
• Conduct QA in accordance with PQRs and WPSs.
• Liaise with client QA team for inspections.
• Ensure health and safety in work areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping at work site.
