Job summary

McGinley Support Services Limited is seeking a Welding Supervisor to join our Manchester/Doncaster depots. You will lead welding operations on rail projects, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and NR training requirements.

The role requires flexibility for night work, certified Thermit welding experience, and possession of a full UK driving licence. PAYE contract and ongoing career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven Thermit welding experience with Network Rail accredited training.
• Rail safety standards knowledge and compliance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise welding operations on rail projects at Manchester/Doncaster depots.
• Ensure adherence to rail safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate night shifts and site cconditions.
• Monitor PPE and equipment use; ensure training and competency.

Requirements

• PTS AC/DCCR
• TW1-2
• RT 1- 2
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Strong understanding of rail safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights
• Proven experience in Thermit Welding with the following valid certifications, trained in a Network Rail approved training school.
