Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Welding Superintendent to join the Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater on a 10/4 rotation. You will supervise welding activities, ensure compliance with CCNSG, SMSTS/IOSH standards, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver safe, timely results.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds qualifications, plus Pro Qual where applicable. Join Bilfinger UK to contribute to a high-profile energy project, with emphasis on safety, quality, and on-site teamwork.

Qualifications

• Safety certifications and site access qualifications required on major projects.
• Experience with welding supervision and industrial maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welding activities for the Hinkley Point C project at Bridgwater.
• Ensure compliance with CCNSG/SMSTS/IOSH standards and site rules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure timely, safe execution.
