WELDING QC INSPECTOR - CONTRACT – TEESSIDE

To be considered for the role, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for a Welding QC Inspector to join the team in Teesside.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience: 5 years as Welding QC Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry or similar
  • Certifications: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS or equivalent
  • Technical skills: Quality Control inspection
  • IT skills: MS365
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site
  • Follow relevant specified procedures, issue the relevant Quality Records and write non-conformances reports for the Quality Control Supervisor
  • Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations, the availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welders’ qualifications
  • Check the availability and suitability of the welding equipment consumables, pre‑heating, welding, heat treatment, bevels, the extent of the repairs made by the various welders (taking any corrective action required), the heat treatment record diagrams
  • Collect and manage documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents
  • Ensure that all civil works and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As‑Built dossier
  • In case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved QC/Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records
  • Ensure the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation
RATE

DURATION

Start ASAP until 31st January 2026.

WORK PATTERN

6 days per week.
