Job summary

Lincat is a leading manufacturer of commercial catering equipment based in Lincoln. We seek a Welding Operative to join our Welding department, responsible for TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel components used in our kitchen equipment.

You will read drawings, follow safety standards, and collaborate with production teams to ensure on-time delivery. Join a team focused on quality, precision, and efficiency; the role operates on a 2-on, 2-off roster from 5:00 to 16:50, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in TIG welding of stainless steel.
• Ability to read technical welding drawings.
• Knowledge of materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Good English and numeracy skills.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel to high quality standards.
• Fabricate and finish metal products to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret welding drawings and fabrication plans.
• Collaborate with production and assembly teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Operate welding and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded products for standards compliance.
• Meet daily production and utilisation targets.
