Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Aylesbury is seeking a Production Team Leader for the Welding Cell. You will supervise the welding team, coordinate daily activities and drive improvements to meet targets while upholding safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have coded welding qualifications and proven leadership, with a focus on productivity and continuous improvement in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading welding teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Coded welder qualifications or equivalent.
• Strong focus on quality, health and safety.
• Ability to plan workloads and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support the welding production team.
• Organise workloads and coordinate production activities to meet schedules.
• Monitor progress across shifts and communicate updates and challenges.
• Ensure welding/fabrication work meets quality standards.
• Promote health and safety procedures throughout the workshop.
• Maintain production records and documentation accurately.
• Ensure inspection holds and quality control points are followed.
• Support capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
