The ideal candidate will be a Welder or similar with the aspirations to be a fully qualified, multiskilled maintenance engineer. You will have experience working with mechanical and/or electrical systems, fault-finding, and planned maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting production through effective maintenance practices.

The Role
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime
  • Support continuous improvement and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Assist with installations, upgrades, and commissioning of machinery when required
The Person
  • Background in Welding looking to progression into Maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance, health & safety, and engineering best practice
  • Commutable to Exeter
