Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00
Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 14:00–00:00 (Fridays off)

Pay & Benefits
  • £17.00 per hour + £50.05 weekly shift allowance (≈ £1.32/hr extra)
  • 1.5× overtime after 38 hours / Saturdays
  • 2× overtime on Sundays
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

  • HMRC right‑to‑work verification

Your Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on dies, clip tools, and fabricated tooling.
  • Carry out heat treatment on dies as part of the repair and refurbishment process.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and assist with fabrication and fitting work in the toolroom.
  • Run the robotic MIG welder once trained (bespoke system – full training provided).
  • Work collaboratively with Toolmakers and Engineers to support production and tooling repair schedules.
  • Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and is fully documented for audit purposes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Welder – ideally with MIG as your core process, plus TIG/ARC exposure.
  • Background in heavy manufacturing, aerospace, or tooling environments.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work accurately to tight tolerances.
  • Willingness to learn and operate the robotic MIG welder (training provided).
