Qualifications

• Apprenticeship as a welder, industrial mechanic or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in TIG and MIG welding, especially in TIG welding of non-ferrous metals.
• Welding qualification to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and 9606-2 desirable.
• Experience in operating metalworking machines and equipment.
• Fluent oral and written English.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in TIG, MIG and Stick welding.
• Welding of high pressure pipes up to 300 bar.
• Carry out weld inspections and preparation of components.
• Work closely with engineers during the design process.
