Job summary

Premier Pits, based in Quadring near Spalding in South Lincolnshire, is seeking Welder / Fabricators (Skilled and Semi-Skilled) to join a small fabrication team. You will work on prefabricated steel maintenance and inspection pits for workshops, reading 2D CAD drawings, and occasionally supporting other projects across the business.

Hours are 39 per week with overtime; the company offers competitive rates of pay, an attendance bonus, and a profit‑share scheme to reward reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding and fabrication.
• Able to read 2D CAD drawings.
• Flexible to work on varied projects.

Responsibilities

For over 35 years, Premier Pits has been designing, manufacturing, and installing a range of prefabricated steel maintenance pits for the commercial vehicle, PSV, and railway industries across the UK and internationally. In addition, the company manufactures bespoke steel substructures for various below‑ground applications, from gym landing pits to bases for large industrial machines. The business is based in Quadring near Spalding in South Lincolnshire, and its products are installed throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.

The successful applicants will predominantly work within a small team of fabricators on steel maintenance and inspection pits used for workshops, utilizing 2D CAD drawings. There may be varied work from time to time on other projects across the business.
