Job summary

Centristic Ltd is expanding its welding and fabrications team at Newton Abbot workshop. We welcome both experienced welders/fabricators and motivated trainees who want to build a career in welding and fabrication.

Role involves MIG/MAG welding on heavy structural steel and plate work, with training provided for trainees. Competitive salary and career progression offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG/MAG welding
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Experience in heavy structural steel and plate work fabrication
• Coding certification is an advantage, training can be provided

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate heavy structural steel and plate work from drawings
• Operate MIG/MAG welding equipment to required specifications
• Maintain quality and safety standards in workshop
• Work as part of a team and independently as required

Centristic Ltd is a thriving business with exciting new contracts. We are looking to expand our team of Welders/Fabricators at our busy Newton Abbot workshop.

About the Role

We are seeking both experienced Welders/Fabricators and motivated trainees/apprentices who are keen to build a career in welding and fabrication.

• Experienced applicants should have:
  • Strong MIG/MAG welding skills
  • Ability to work independently from engineering drawings
  • Experience in heavy structural steel and plate work fabrication
  • (Coding certification is an advantage, but training can be provided)

• GROSS OTE: £45,645 – £52,166
