Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking TIG Welders / Fabricators for a workshop-based role in Calderdale, England. Candidates are expected to perform TIG welding, fabrication, and quality checks while adhering to high standards of workmanship. The position offers pay rates dependent on experience, from £14 to £18 per hour, along with holiday pay. TIG Welders / Fabricators Required

ARC Recruitment are currently recruiting TIG Welders / Fabricators to join a growing and well-established engineering team on a permanent basis.

This is a workshop-based position with the potential for working away when required.

Job Duties
  • TIG welding on a variety of materials
  • Fabrication of components and assemblies
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials prior to welding
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working to deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Assisting with installation work when working away, if required
Pay Rates (depending on experience)
  • £14 per hour + holiday pay – under 2 years’ experience
  • £16 per hour + holiday pay – 2 to 5 years’ experience
  • £18 per hour + holiday pay – 5+ years’ experience
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm
