Overview

Welder - Aerospace & Defence Engineering

Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: Permanent Day Shift - Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm, Fri 7:00am-12:00pm

The Role

We\'re looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis. You\'ll be working on high-precision welded assemblies used in critical applications — so attention to detail, pride in your work, and a commitment to quality are essential.

• TIG and MIG welding of precision components (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
• Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Maintaining high-quality standards in line with aerospace and defence requirements
• Supporting fabrication and assembly work where required
• Contributing to a positive, safety-first workshop culture

The Person

• Experienced Welder or Fabricator, ideally with aerospace, defence, or precision engineering background
• Confident with TIG welding (MIG experience advantageous)
• Able to interpret and work from technical drawings
• Reliable, detail-focused, and keen to produce work to exacting standards

The Package

• Up to £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
