Qualifications

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA! We are the North American leader in designing, manufacturing, and upfitting multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks, specializing in snow and ice control, and "Keeping America’s Roads Safe!"

Day Shift - 5 am to 3 pm, 20-minute paid lunch. Flexible start times available if needed.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As a welder of truck-mounted equipment, you will be responsible for consistently producing high-quality weldments using provided blueprints or documentation to meet daily schedules and customer demands. Welders are responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and regulating welding machines. They weld with or without fixtures, utilize various tools to cut, grind, bevel, fit metals, and remove slag. Perform designated maintenance, ensure quality of weldments, participate in training, perform daily 5S activities, and maintain all safety standards.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

  • Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, basic shop math, and read a tape measure
  • Ability to operate overhead hoist
  • Minimum of 6 months experience and/or an associate degree or certification
  • Adherence to all health and safety rules and maintaining good housekeeping (5S)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, lifting, and standing
  • Exposure to noise, welding, and grinding smoke at times
