Vital Human Resources clients require coded welders for long-term work on a new build industrial incinerator project near Cambridge. Expect a demanding role with an 11 day fortnight, 10-hour days and a min duration through April 2027.

Weld tests include various TIG and MMA procedures; prior engineering/construction experience is essential. Benefits include lodge, travel, severance and Welplan in line with NAECI agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering construction environments.
• Willingness to provide CV, references and right-to-work proofs.
• NAECI or related welding qualifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Weld and inspect 1/2in to 2in carbon and stainless pipes.
• Work on a new build industrial incinerator project near Cambridge.
• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MMA weld tests as required.
• Adhere to NAECI pay and site procedures.

Our client is a national M&E Engineering Construction Contractor with numerous projects covering the whole of the UK.

Job Details

Coded Welders required for long term work on an new build industrial incinerator project near Cambridge

Work pattern / Hours: 11 day fortnight / 10 hour days

Duration: Until April 2027 min.

1/2 inch to 2 inch carbon and stainless steel pipe: ASME 9 BSEN 9606

Weld test

• 2” C/S – TIG (GTAW),2” S/S – TIG (GTAW),½” C/S – TIG (GTAW),½” S/S – TIG (GTAW),Fillet weld test C/S MMA – on plate (vertical and overhead)

Previous experience of working within an Engineering Construction environment.

Full NAECI PAYE pay rate with all allowances inc, hol pay, lodge, travel, train fare, severance, Welplan, etc

NAECI PAYE pay rates: Welder Grade 5

PAY RATES

• First 38 hours Monday to Thurs £23.45,After 38 hours Mon to Thurs, all day Fri and Sat first 4 hours £32.83, after 4 hrsSat and Sun £42.21

ANNUAL LEAVE & BANK HOLIDAYS

Holiday pay accrued per week (Bank Holidays paid in accordance with the NAECI Agreement)

INCENTIVE BONUS ARRANGEMENT (IBA)

• £2.37 per hour (£1.87 paid fortnightly on all hours and£0.50 retained and paid out Monthly)
• Welding Allowance: £0.44 per hr

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

• Lodge £53.39 (Increased if receipts provided)
• Upon Arrival:Travel Time – Based RAC Route Planner (Fastest Route) &Train Fare – Single Anytime Fare
• You will be entitled to a long weekend (Periodic Leave) andTravel Time – Based RAC Route Planner (Fastest Route) &Train Fare – Return Anytime Fare

Severance Pay

Accrued Weekly

Will be paid weekly by Vital on commencement of works.
