Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth is seeking an experienced TIG or MIG Welder Fabricator to join their team in Tamworth. The role involves fabricating from technical drawings and working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality components.

Candidate should have proven TIG/MIG experience, good accuracy reading drawings, and a reliable, team-oriented approach. Monday–Friday shifts, £15.00 per hour with pay and benefits via the agency.

Welder Fabricator

Tamworth | £15.00 per hour + depending on experience | Monday to Friday

Experienced Welder Fabricator required | TIG or MIG | Technical Drawings | Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminium

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting an experienced TIG or MIG Welder Fabricator for an established manufacturing client in the Tamworth area.

This is a hands-on fabrication role suited to an experienced welder who can produce high-quality work, read technical drawings and work confidently with a range of materials.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• TIG and MIG welding.
• Fabrication from technical drawings.
• Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Cutting, grinding and drilling.
• General fabrication duties.
• Producing high-quality finished products.
• Ensuring work meets required quality standards.
• Following safe working practices at all times.
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00-15:00
• Friday: 06:00-12:00
• £15.00 per hour + depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working pattern.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in TIG or MIG.
• Confidence reading and working from technical drawings.
• Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• A reliable and hardworking approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
